Balaidos, Vigo, Spain

The Estadio Municipal de Balaídos, known as Estadio Abanca Balaídos for sponsorship reasons, is an all-seater stadium situated in Vigo, Spain. Owned by Vigo's city council, it serves as the home ground for La Liga club Celta Vigo. Opening its doors in 1928, the stadium currently has a capacity of 24,791 spectators.

Balaídos was officially inaugurated on 30 December 1928, with the stadium being blessed by Father Faustino Ande, the archpriest of Fragoso. The inaugural match featured the hosts, Celta Vigo, facing off against the Basque team Real Unión. Carmen Gregorio-Espino, the daughter of former mayor Adolfo Gregorio Espino, performed the ceremonial kick-off. Graciliano of Celta Vigo had the honour of scoring the first goal in the new stadium during a 7–0 victory.
