The stadium also played host to five matches during the 1982 World Cup, including the first game and the final of the 1992 Summer Olympics football tournament. Outside football and sport, Irish rock group U2 have played there three times, the Three Tenors performed a concert there, and even Michael Jackson took to the stage at Camp Nou during his Bas World Tour.
For this season however, Barcelona are playing their matches at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys due to the start of Espai Barça project to revamp the club's sporting facilities.
