The football stadium situated in the San Siro district of Milan, Italy, goes by the name Stadio Giuseppe Meazza among Internazionale fans, while AC Milan supporters commonly refer to it as the San Siro. Boasting an expansive seating capacity of 80,018, it stands as one of the largest stadiums in Europe and holds the distinction of being the largest in Italy.

On March 3, 1980, the stadium was officially named in honour of Giuseppe Meazza, a legendary two-time World Cup winner (1934, 1938) who graced the field for Inter and briefly for Milan in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Meazza also served two managerial stints with Inter.

The San Siro carries the Champions League category four designation and has a rich history of hosting prestigious football events. It played a pivotal role in the 1934 and 1990 World Cups, hosting three and six games, respectively. Additionally, the stadium hosted three matches during the Euros in 1980 and served as the venue for four European Cup finals in 1965, 1970, 2001, and 2016.
